HOUSTON – (Realty News Report) – NIT Industrial has acquired a 151,260-square-foot distribution building near Highway 290 in Northwest Houston.
The property at 12614 Hempstead Highway sits adjacent to an Amazon fulfillment facility, offering strategic proximity to major e-commerce operations and regional transportation routes.
The seller, STAG Houston 3, LP, was represented by Ryan Byrd and Walker Barnett of Colliers International. Jason Tangen, also with Colliers International, represented the buyer, NIT Industrial.
NIT Industrial purchased the building as an investment and plans to complete capital improvements to make the space available for immediate occupancy. This marks NIT’s second acquisition in the Houston market within six months.
Earlier this year, an entity affiliated with NIT Industrial LLC acquired 12.8 acres in the Cedar Port Industrial Park in Baytown to develop a four-building speculative industrial park totaling approximately 204,000 square feet. The tilt-wall buildings are planned to be about 50,000 square feet each. Colliers’ Jason Tangen collaborated on the Baytown transaction alongside Joel Michael of NAI.
