HOUSTON — (RNR) — Colliers International announced its Design & Construction Advisory Services (DCAS) team was selected to manage a 21,578-square-foot industrial build-out for Transcat Inc., which will relocate and expand its operations to 16155 Park Row Drive in Houston. The landlord, AK Leasehold I, LLC, was represented by Jude Filippone of Transwestern. The tenant was represented by Blake Gibson of Colliers International. Method Architecture’s Katherine Rorie will collaborate with the Colliers DCAS team on the project, and Todd Buster of Horizon Development & Construction will serve as general contractor.
HOUSTON — Lee & Associates – Houston, a commercial real estate services firm, announced the Adkisson Group’s purchase of a 158,700-square-foot manufacturing campus at 6500 Brittmoore Road in northwest Houston. Robert McGee, Thomas Leger and Chase Cribbs of Lee & Associates – Houston represented the privately held development firm in the transaction.
NAI Partners arranged a 3,750-square-foot retail lease renewal for Apex Urgent Care at 6133 Fry Road in Katy. NAI Partners’ Laura Diggs represented the landlord.
Patricia Chesser of Cypressbrook Company represented the landlords, Gary and Kathy Louie, in leasing 6,000 square feet of retail space at 25904 I-45 North. Todd Moseley of Moseley Commercial Real Estate, Inc. represented the tenant, 2 Quick Automotive #3, LLC.
Katy Ranch Offices, LP, Management and Freeway Properties completed construction on a phase 2 office building at 24285 Katy Freeway. The six-story, 150,920-square-foot building is currently 30% leased. Avison Young principals Sam Hansen and Doug Pack handle leasing for the Katy Ranch office buildings. Escalate Workspace, an office-space provider, leased 23,000 square feet. Freeway Properties is led by Mike Baker.
Horn Solutions, Inc. leased 12,485 square feet at 301 Commerce Green Blvd. in Sugar Land. Kevin Poynter and Peyton Poynter of Poynter Commercial Properties represented the building owner, Commerce Green Associates, LP. Al Gabosch of Moody Rambin represented the tenant.
George Montes of Cypressbrook Company represented the tenant, Cinco Education LLC, in leasing 6,506 square feet of retail space at 20660 Westheimer Parkway in Katy. Isela Truong of Terramont Realty represented the landlord, Plaza Park I, Ltd.
KATY — Home Dental leased 3,375 square feet at Highland Knolls Shopping Center, located at 21040 Highland Knolls in Katy. Home Dental is a general dentistry practice providing dental care and orthodontic services. The landlord was represented by Kristen Barker of Wulfe & Co.
John Hornbuckle of Cypressbrook Company represented the tenant, MVR Publishing, LLC, in leasing 4,929 square feet at 2020 N. Loop West. Richard Maloof of Hartman represented the landlord, Hartman Income REIT Management.
SUGAR LAND — Sweet Paris Crêperie & Café, founded in 2012 by Allison and Ivan Chavez, has leased space for a Sugar Land location. The brand, which operates in Texas and Mexico, plans to open at Sugar Land Town Square following a summer launch at The Domain in Austin and a fall unveiling at Lucky 11. The 2,257-square-foot street-level site is located at 15911 City Walk in Sugar Land Town Square.
Kimberly Davos of Cypressbrook Company represented the tenant, Charm Thai (Kamrons Thai Kitchen, LLC), in leasing 2,400 square feet of restaurant space at 2203 Spring Stuebner. The landlord, WSS Retail – Shops at Spring Village, LLC, was represented by Connor Lynch of Capital Retail Properties.

GRAND PRAIRIE — Mohr Capital, a Dallas-based real estate investment firm, sold a 400,000-square-foot warehouse located along Interstate 20 in Grand Prairie. The buyer was TA Realty, a Boston-based real estate investment group. Jonathan Bryan with CBRE represented the seller, Mohr.
DENTON — National homebuilder D.R. Horton acquired 53 acres for a new housing development in Denton. Younger Partners’ David Hinson and Tom Grunnah brokered the transaction. D.R. Horton plans to build 206 homes on 50-by-120-foot lots.
DALLAS — Younger Partners Property Services assumed property management duties for the 56-story, 1,738,979-square-foot Renaissance Tower at 1201 Elm St. in downtown Dallas. The Class A trophy office tower, located in the Dallas Central Business District, is known for its distinctive double “X” lighting and rooftop spires.
DALLAS — The 270-unit Ventana Apartments in Dallas were acquired by Turner Multifamily Impact Fund II. Based in Santa Monica, California, Turner Impact Capital is a private equity real estate firm focused on social impact investments.
DALLAS — Mortgage lender Mr. Cooper announced plans to hire an additional 2,000 employees through the remainder of 2020. With more than 3,000 new team members already onboard this year, the company is expanding as mortgage rates reach historically low levels and home loan activity increases.
DALLAS — Crescent Communities added fitness franchise F45 Training and Land of a Thousand Hills Coffee to the mixed-use community NOVEL Deep Ellum. Crescent’s retail leasing partner at NOVEL Deep Ellum is Venture Commercial, led by Amy Pjetrovic, Gabi Shaff and Austin MacDougall. NOVEL Deep Ellum is a seven-story residential and entertainment complex at 2900 Canton St., near Malcolm X Boulevard, replacing a block-long, one-story industrial structure and offering 231 one- and two-bedroom rental apartments.
Round Rock — NAI Partners’ Joe DeCola and Max Garner represented the landlord in a 1,575-square-foot retail lease signed by Phil’s Discount Nutrition at 2000 Mays St. North.

CARY, N.C. — JLL Capital Markets announced the $34.85 million sale of Wegmans in West Cary, a 103,000-square-foot single-tenant retail property that anchors Twin Lakes Center, a mixed-use project in Cary. JLL represented the seller, Leyland Twin Lakes LLC, an affiliate of Leyland Alliance. The buyer was San Diego–based Realty Income Corp., a REIT.
PHOENIX — A joint venture between Toll Brothers and Canyon Partners will develop Haverly, a 323-unit multifamily rental community in Phoenix. The joint venture secured a $53.1 million construction loan from Washington Federal Bank.
FAIRHOPE, Ala. — Steve Ekovich of Marcus & Millichap’s Leisure Investment Properties Group handled the sale of Rock Creek Golf Club in Fairhope.
PORT ROYAL, S.C. — The 400-unit Preserve at Port Royal apartment complex sold for $54.1 million. Greystone Brown Real Estate Advisors represented the seller, Prominent Realty Group of Georgia.
