Houston Developer Builds Mixed-Use Tower in Salt Lake City

SALT LAKE CITY – (Realty News Report) – A development partnership between Houston-based Patrinely Group and USAA Real Estate has announced the structural topping out of 650 Main, a 10-story, 332,000-square-foot Class A office and retail project in downtown Salt Lake City.

The project remains on schedule for delivery in the first quarter of 2022, said Robert Fields, President and CEO of Patrinely Group. “Upon completion, we expect 650 Main to exceed the expectations of today’s office users. Along with large, light-filled floor plates, generous ceiling heights, ample parking and unobstructed views, 650 Main will offer a comprehensive indoor and outdoor amenity package unmatched in the Salt Lake City office market,” Fields said.

Designed by global architecture firm HOK, 650 Main is targeting LEED v4 Gold certification. The building features efficient floor plates varying from approximately 41,000 square feet on the lower levels (floors 1–4) to roughly 30,840 square feet on the upper floors.

EnerBank, a national consumer lender, has leased 88,900 square feet across the top three floors of the building and will be a prominent tenant at the Salt Lake City site.

Patrinely Development is actively expanding its portfolio, with downtown office towers underway in Denver and Salt Lake City, as well as projects in Springwoods Village in north Houston and developments planned or under construction in Austin, San Antonio, Los Angeles, Miami, Raleigh and the New York/New England region. The company is also currently constructing a 30-story tower in downtown Denver.

Additionally, a joint venture including Patrinely Group, USAA Real Estate and CDC Houston is developing Hewlett Packard Enterprise’s new campus in CityPlace, the urban and commercial core of Springwoods Village, a 2,000-acre master-planned community in north Houston.

In November, California-based Paxion Capital announced the acquisition of a significant stake in Patrinely Group, a strategic investment intended to accelerate Patrinely’s national expansion.
