ATLANTA – Hines has broken ground on T3 West Midtown, a seven-story office building constructed using mass timber framing.

Houston-based Hines, together with Invesco Real Estate, a global real estate investment manager, announced the start of construction on the 230,000-square-foot office development within Atlantic Station, a mixed-use district in Atlanta.

Designed by Hartshorne Plunkard Architecture in collaboration with the DLR Group, T3 West Midtown emphasizes collaborative workspace environments and sustainable mass timber construction. The building is planned to deliver high-quality tenant connectivity and has earned First Wired Certified Platinum New Development status in Atlanta.

“We are excited to begin construction of this distinctive project, which combines striking architecture with a thoughtful mix of amenities and services, linking tenants to the round-the-clock energy of Atlanta’s urban core,” said John Heagy, Senior Managing Director at Hines.

Founded in 1957, Hines operates in 201 cities across 24 countries and manages $111 billion in assets. The firm’s current property and asset management portfolio spans 506 properties, totaling more than 210 million square feet.

Hines also has 108 development projects underway worldwide.
