People in Real Estate: Benjamin, Colglazier, McMichael & More

HOUSTON – (Realty News Report) CDC Houston, a subsidiary of New York-based Coventry Development Corp., has appointed real estate veteran Phillip Benjamin as Senior Vice President. With nearly four decades of industry experience, Benjamin most recently served as Executive Vice President and Chief Portfolio Officer for Houston-based Patrinely Group. In that role he oversaw portfolio and asset management, debt and equity placement, dispositions, fund creation and management, investor relations, acquisitions, and structuring new investments. Earlier in his career, Benjamin held the position of Senior Vice President at Banc of America Securities.


SAN ANTONIO – NAI Partners announced that industrial real estate specialist John Colglazier, Jr. has joined the firm as a Partner. Jon Silberman, Managing Partner of NAI Partners, praised Colglazier’s addition, noting that Colglazier Properties has long been recognized as one of San Antonio’s leading industrial brokerages. Colglazier’s move strengthens NAI Partners’ industrial capabilities in the region.


Martin Fein Interests, Ltd. has appointed Adam McMichael as Senior Director of Development. Based in Charlotte, McMichael will concentrate on expanding the company’s multifamily development pipeline across the Southeast. He brings seven years of multifamily development and investment experience in the Bay Area, most recently with Prometheus Real Estate Group. McMichael’s background also includes work with apartment investor McKinley, Inc. and land developer Blake Investment Partners on investment strategies targeting the Southeast market.


David Aaronson has launched Refuel Electric Vehicle Solutions, a company focused on the growing need for EV infrastructure and related services.


Frank H. Fitzgerald has established Fitzgerald Commercial Properties in Houston, providing commercial brokerage services across the region.


Cushman & Wakefield named Doug Jones Managing Principal of its Dallas office. Jones will lead the firm’s Dallas-Fort Worth operations and oversee more than 300 professionals serving that market.


New Hope Housing, a leading provider of permanent, affordable, and supportive housing for individuals who have experienced or are at risk of homelessness, has elected Frank C. Steininger to its board of directors. Steininger recently retired from Civeo Corp. and brings extensive leadership experience to the organization.


LAS VEGAS – The Calida Group, a multifamily investment and development firm, has appointed Chris Leggee as Senior Vice President of Capital Markets. In this role, Leggee will lead capital strategy and investor relations to support Calida’s growth and project execution.
