CYPRESS, Texas — The Howard Hughes Corporation is preparing to open Parkland Village, a new village within Bridgeland, its 11,400-acre master-planned community in northwest Houston. Parkland Village is designed to offer a range of homes, recreational amenities and thoughtful landscaping that connects residents to the natural environment.

Confirmed homebuilders for Parkland Village include well-known regional and national builders: Beazer Homes, Chesmar Homes, Coventry Homes, Darling Homes, Highland Homes, Lennar, M/I Homes, Newmark Homes, Perry Homes, Ravenna Homes, Taylor Morrison, Trendmaker Homes, Village Builders and Westin Homes. The lineup provides a mix of architectural styles and floorplans to serve a variety of buyers.

In keeping with a nature-focused theme, every neighborhood within Parkland Village will be named after a Texas State Park. Street names and points of interest will reflect historical park facts, notable landmarks, native plants and local wildlife associated with each park, reinforcing the village’s identity and educational value.

Bridgeland will also add Josey Lake, a new amenity that will serve as a transitional recreational area between Lakeland Village and Parkland Village. The 140-acre lake system is planned as a community centerpiece, with grassy, meadow-like plantings along its shoreline. Amenity features will include a kayak pavilion for water sports, a main pavilion for gatherings, an event lawn for community activities and an observational birding tower to support wildlife viewing and nature appreciation.

Parkland Village’s design aims to blend residential living with outdoor recreation, creating a cohesive neighborhood that emphasizes active lifestyles and environmental stewardship. With multiple builders involved, the village is expected to offer a variety of housing options and price points while providing shared green spaces and water-based amenities for residents.

As development progresses, future communications will outline neighborhood opening schedules, available floorplans, pricing tiers and details about community programming and natural habitat preservation efforts. For now, Parkland Village represents the next phase in Bridgeland’s long-term vision of connected neighborhoods, robust amenities and preserved open space.
