HOUSTON – (Realty News Report) – CJ Development has acquired 43 acres near the intersection of the Grand Parkway and West Bellfort in Richmond, Texas.
Combined with 15 adjacent acres already controlled by CJ Development, the project will form a 58-acre mixed-use community called Grand Center at Long Meadow Farms. The development is planned to include retail, restaurants, medical offices, fitness facilities and a range of other commercial enterprises.
Anchoring the site will be a two-story, 46,000-square-foot retail center, JLL reports. In addition to built-for-lease spaces, several tracts will be offered on fee-simple terms, giving prospective buyers the opportunity to own their land and custom-build facilities tailored to their businesses.
“Fort Bend County is one of the fastest-growing areas in the state and presents excellent opportunities for businesses,” said John Vassallo, partner at CJ Development.
The developer will construct internal roads, provide offsite detention, and coordinate installation of fully looped utilities with the local municipal utility district to support the new center.
Initial tenants committed to the Grand Center at Long Meadow Farms include Members Choice Credit Union, Spring Creek BBQ, Pet Suites, Service First and 7-Eleven.
Chris Bergmann Jr. of JLL represented the land seller in the transaction.
CJ Development was represented by Alan Chodrow of Chodrow Realty Advisors.
Leasing and sales for Long Meadow Farms are being handled by Ashley Strickland and Nick Ramsey of NewQuest Properties.
