HOUSTON – (Realty News Report) – Bedrock Energy Partners, LLC has moved its offices from downtown Houston to Two Memorial City Plaza, located near the Katy Freeway in West Houston.
Bedrock Energy Partners is an exploration and production company concentrating on the Barnett Shale in the Fort Worth area and other mature basins. The Barnett Shale played a key role early in the Shale Revolution.
The company leased 7,659 square feet at Two Memorial City Plaza, located at 820 Gessner within the Memorial City development.
Previously, Bedrock’s offices were situated at 2 Houston Center, 909 Fannin, in downtown Houston.
Two Memorial City Plaza is owned and managed by MetroNational and is one of three office towers in the 927,000-square-foot Memorial City Plaza complex.
Two Memorial City is an 18-story, Class A office building.
In the Bedrock transaction, MetroNational representatives Brad MacDougall and Warren Alexander handled the landlord’s side. Jay Cliburn and Andrew Brod of Fritsche Anderson Realty Partners represented the tenant, Bedrock Energy Partners.
Memorial City is a 265-acre mixed-use development in West Houston, located on the east side of the Energy Corridor. The area contains approximately 9 million square feet of developed real estate, including office buildings; retail such as the super-regional Memorial City Mall; high-rise and mid-rise apartments, including The McAdams Memorial City; a wide variety of restaurants; hotels including The Westin Memorial City and Hotel ZaZa Memorial City; and the Memorial Hermann Memorial City Medical Center.
MetroNational, the Houston-based owner and manager of Two Memorial City Plaza, was founded in 1954.
