HOUSTON — Houston-based developer Vista Equities Group has begun construction on the final phase of LaCenterra at Cinco Ranch, the mixed-use center in Katy located west of Houston.

LaCenterra at Cinco Ranch, situated at 23501 Cinco Ranch Boulevard, spans 34 acres and includes approximately 360,000 square feet of retail, dining and entertainment space. The development sits just off the Grand Parkway, about three miles south of I-10, and serves as a central gathering place for the Katy community.

The new final phase will be anchored by a 37,000-square-foot Alamo Drafthouse Cinema, complemented by roughly 7,500 square feet of additional retail space and a five-story parking garage to support increased visitor traffic and tenant needs.

Vista Equities Group is part of The Vista Companies, a Houston-based real estate services organization founded in 1985. The group specializes in development, brokerage, leasing and property management across residential and commercial projects.

“LaCenterra is coming off its 10th anniversary celebration, so breaking ground on the final phase soon after is significant for us and for the Katy community,” said Woody Mann, President of Vista Equities Group. The expansion reflects ongoing demand for curated retail, dining and entertainment options in the area.

Construction of the final phase, including the Alamo Drafthouse Cinema, is scheduled for completion in early 2018. Tribble & Stephens Construction is serving as the general contractor overseeing the build-out.
