ULI Names Eight New Members to Americas Executive Committee

WASHINGTON – Eight prominent real estate leaders have joined the Americas Executive Committee (AEC) of the Urban Land Institute (ULI), a global membership organization devoted to responsible land use and to creating and sustaining vibrant, resilient communities.

The AEC advises on strategic priorities for ULI’s programs across the Americas, serving nearly 40,000 members in the United States, Canada, Latin America and South America. With this addition, the committee’s senior real estate membership expands to 20. The new members are:

  • Michael Banner, president and chief executive officer, Los Angeles LDC, Inc., Inglewood, California, and chair of ULI Los Angeles Market Place;
  • Michael Collins, managing director, JE Dunn Capital Partners, Kansas City, Missouri, and chair of ULI Kansas City;
  • Fernando Costa, assistant city manager, City of Fort Worth, Fort Worth, Texas;
  • Lisa Y. Gordon, president and chief executive officer, Atlanta Habitat for Humanity, Atlanta, Georgia, and chair of the ULI Atlanta Advisory Board;
  • Linda J. Isaacson, managing director and global head of innovation and technology, Ferguson Partners, New York, New York;
  • Matthew Kelly, chief executive officer, JBG SMITH Properties, Chevy Chase, Maryland;
  • Greg T. West, chief executive officer, ZOM Living, Fort Lauderdale, Florida; and
  • Kavindi Wickremage, managing director, Bain Capital, Boston, Massachusetts.

Brinsden, chief executive officer of Midway in Houston. “Over the next two years, the Americas Executive Committee will focus on how ULI can take a stronger leadership role in addressing racial inequity and systemic racism within our industry and our communities. I look forward to working with our member leaders to drive meaningful, lasting change.”

Neidich, chief executive officer, Dune Real Estate Partners LP, New York; Hilary J. Spann, managing director and head of Americas, real estate investments, CPPIB America, Inc., New York; and Leslie Woo, chief planning officer, Metrolinx, Toronto, Ontario.

Ex-officio members of the AEC include the president of ULI Americas, Gwyneth Jones Cote; ULI Global CEO, W. Edward Walter; and ULI Global Chairman, Owen D. Thomas, chief executive officer of Boston Properties.

ULI represents more than 45,000 members across 82 countries, including real estate developers, investors, architects, academics, urban planners and other professionals focused on shaping healthy, resilient places and communities.
