Laurie Baker Named CREW Leader for Camden Development Post

HOUSTON – (Realty News Report) – Laurie Baker, a former national president of the Commercial Real Estate Women (CREW) Network, has been promoted to Executive Vice President of Operations at Camden Property Trust.

Headquartered in Houston, Camden Property Trust owns interests in and operates 165 properties comprising 56,271 apartment homes across the United States.

Baker served as the 2016 National President of the CREW Network and was the 2014 President of CREW Houston. She also sits on the Board of Directors for the National Multifamily Housing Council (NMHC) and serves as Vice Chair of the Urban Land Institute’s Multifamily Bronze Council.

At Camden, Baker previously held the role of Senior Vice President of Fund and Asset Management, where she led the formation and oversight of Camden’s first investment funds. In her new position she will continue to oversee the company’s investment funds while taking on expanded responsibility for the operations of Camden’s property portfolio.
