CityCentre Beefs Up Retail Tenants, Market briefs

In Houston, Houston’s CityCentre district added several new retail tenants, lifting retail occupancy in the project to 90 percent.

The leasing activity accounts for nearly 60,000 sq ft. New retailers and restaurants include: Bowl & Barrel, H&M, Fellini Gelato & Caffé, Grimaldi’s Pizzeria and Madewell.

CityCentre is a 6.4-acre multi-use project near Interstate 10 and Beltway 8 in west Houston. The CityCentre Five office building will be completed there this fall and will add more parking spaces.

CityCentre was developed by Houston-based Midway Cos., which was founded in 1968. The Midway portfolio of projects completed and/or in progress consists of 44 million sq ft of properties in 23 states and Northern Mexico ranging from multi-use centers, corporate headquarters, multi-family, entertainment, hospitality, business and industrial parks, and large-scale planned resort and residential communities.
