Colvill Office Team Hired by Partners, Market briefs

In Houston, One of the top office leasing teams in the nation, a seven-broker group led by commercial real estate veteran Chip Colvill, has the joined Partners Real Estate company, departing from Cushman & Wakefield.
The Colvill team specializes in representing landlords and owners of office buildings.
A key member of the Colvill team, Michael Anderson, has been representing Hines in leasing the new 1.2 million-SF Texas Tower in downtown Houston. The 47-story Texas Tower, constructed during the Covid pandemic, just reached 99 percent occupancy, a leasing effort that was viewed as a remarkable achievement considering the soft office market conditions and the work-from-home trend.
The Colvill group traces its roots to the former Colvill Office Properties, a Houston firm that focused on leasing Class A Office properties until it was purchased by Cushman & Wakefield about five years ago.
In recent years, the multi-faceted Partners Real Estate has been expanding at a brisk pace, opening offices across the state and establishing a beachhead in Atlanta for a planned foray into Southeast markets.
“Partners is constantly looking to augment our team with the best and brightest professionals who bring a client-centric mindset, exceptional talent, and are representative of our core values,” said Jon Silberman, Partners’ Chief Executive Officer. “Adding a team of this caliber—with one of the most successful track records of advising a roster of prestigious investors in the office sector—reinforces our collective ethos of ‘work together, win together,’ and underscores our core purpose of providing superior results for our clients.”
In a press release distributed Wednesday, Partners confirmed that this Cushman & Wakefield team has joined Partners’ Office Agency Leasing practice in Houston: Chip Colvill, Michael Anderson, Win Haggard, Damon Thames, Brad Beasley, Diana Bridger, and Connor Saxe.
