Dallas: Huntington Starts 350,000 SF Project

In Dallas, Construction has begun on DFW Airport North Distribution Center II, an industrial development located on Lakeside Parkway in Flower Mound, near Dallas.

The developer, Denver-based Huntington Industrial Partners, purchased the 24-acre site in a joint venture with Artemis Real Estate Partners, a Washington, D.C. metropolitan area-based real estate investment manager.

Transwestern Principals John Fulton and Brett Owens will lease the 349,580-square-foot, two-building project scheduled for completion in August 2015.

“As e-commerce and consumer spending continue to thrive, we expect the high level of demand for industrial space in the Dallas-Fort Worth area to continue,” said Fulton.

The project consists of a 185,000-square-foot, rear–load, dock-high building and a 164,000-square-foot, cross-dock building. The property also offers up to 85 trailer storage spaces.
