As Warehouse Activity Grows: Industrial Strength: Stream Realty Adding Personnel

Multifamily Supplier Leases Space

In Houston, Stream Realty Partners says it is expecting a 100 percent increase in hiring in its industrial division by the end of next year.

“We successfully lease and manage a 30 million sq ft portfolio of institutional-grade industrial assets in the Houston market. We attribute that achievement to our people—the cornerstone of our company. We want to continue that momentum by heavily investing in talented people across the platform,” said Justin Robinson, Partner at Stream.

The industrial real estate market has been growing as consumer demand boosts e-commerce, resulting in new construction. Amazon, for example, has over 1,000 new distribution buildings under development around the nation.

Year-to-date, Stream’s Houston industrial team has closed on 144 industrial transactions totaling over 4.7 million sq ft, 15 of which were over 100,000 sq ft. It stands to be Stream’s best year ever in Houston from a transaction volume standpoint.

“Despite many peer firms tapping the brakes, Stream’s Houston office is doubling-down on growth, projecting over 100 percent increase in talent purchase by year-end 2021,” Stream said in a news release.

Stream’s industrial division, which recently expanded with the addition of Managing Director Tyler Maner, has continued to see rapid demand in the Houston market. As a result, Maner has brought on Heath Donica, formerly a professional baseball player with the Oakland Athletics System, and Andrew Littlefield, formerly with Transwestern as Associates and Analyst, Davis Lamberton to support the growth of the tenant representation platform. Focusing on both agency leasing and tenant representation, William Carpenter has been recruited from Boyd Commercial as an associate.

In addition to this hiring, Stream said it will be announcing “two experienced new hires” by the end of the year. The two individuals were not named.

“The industrial real estate sector is growing and evolving dramatically, and Houston’s industrial market has grown and become more sophisticated as a result,” said Matteson Hamilton, Managing Director and Partner with Stream.

The company also has offices in Dallas, Austin, San Antonio, Fort Worth and other major markets around the nation.
