Law Firm Relocates to Downtown Houston, Market briefs

In Houston, The Kane Russell Coleman Logan PC law firm will relocate its Houston office from the Galleria area to Houston Center in downtown, in a more that adds to a long list of law firms that have leased office space in Downtown Houston.
The law firm leased 25,123 SF in the 3 Houston Center building at 1301 McKinney.
“At its core, this move is an investment in the future of our firm,” said Brian Clark, Chair of KRCL’s Board of Directors. “As we continue to grow across Texas, Downtown Houston places us at the center of the business community and positions us to better serve clients while supporting the sophisticated, forward-looking firm we continue to build.”
KRCL will occupy space within 3 Houston Center, one of Houston’s premier office properties. Chad Baker, Executive Vice President & Regional Director at JLL, along with team members Lauren Stifflemire and Kennedy Gamble, represented KRCL in the transaction, helping the firm identify a location aligned with its operational needs, culture and long-term growth strategy. Stream Realty Partners Managing Directors Ryan Barbles and Matt Asvestas represented ownership in the leasing process.
“KRCL’s decision reflects the continued appeal of high-quality downtown office environments for organizations focused on growth, talent and client service,” said Barbles.
The Houston office relocation marks another milestone in KRCL’s strategic plan. Last year KRCL opened its Austin office and continues its evolution and growth across Texas, last month the firm reported the addition of 12 new hires across Houston, Dallas and Austin.
“Our new downtown office reflects where we are as a firm and where we are headed,” Clark said. “We have tremendous confidence in the greater Houston area, downtown and in the opportunities ahead for our clients and our people.”
The 3 Houston Center had been the home of the Norton Rose Fulbright law firm. But that firm departed Houston Center to lease space in a new tower at 1550 Lamar that was developed by Skanska a few years ago.
