Mariak Bringing Blinds & Shades Business to Ellington Warehouse

Ellington Trade Center in southeast Houston

In Houston, Los Angeles-based Mariak, a leading manufacturer of custom window coverings, blinds and shades, has leased 104,000 sq ft of industrial space in Ellington Trade Center on the southeast side of Houston.

Industrial space on the east and southeast side of Houston has been in high demand as companies seek locations in the Port of Houston.

“Mariak will be able to better serve existing and new customers through an optimized assembly layout and closer proximity to the Port of Houston,” said JLL Senior Vice President Ryan Fuselier.

Mariak’s facility is in the 12550 Highway 3. Ellington Trade Center, Building D, is a 284,000-square-foot Class A industrial building.

JLL’s Senior Vice President Ryan Fuselier and Vice President David Buescher represented the tenant, along with LAREM’s Ed Whittemore. Stream Realty represented the landlord, KDC Houston Industrial One LLC.
