HOUSTON – Meritage Homes of Texas, LLC has signed a lease for 22,032 square feet at 3250 Briarpark in Houston’s Westchase business district.
Headquartered in Scottsdale, Arizona, Meritage is one of the nation’s largest home builders, having delivered 1,969 homes in the third quarter and ranking among the top builders in the United States.
Transwestern’s Houston team, led by Executive Vice President David Baker and Associate Jack Scharnberg, represented the building owner in the transaction.
“We are pleased to welcome Meritage Homes, one of the most respected home builders in the country, to the tenant mix at 3250 Briarpark,” said Scharnberg.
Cresa brokers Neil Elliott and André Granello represented Meritage in the lease negotiations.
“Meritage evaluated several options across the market but ultimately chose 3250 Briarpark because it offered the company an opportunity to strengthen its image and brand identity in the region,” Elliott said. “The building also delivered a strong value proposition compared with other Class A alternatives in the area.”
3250 Briarpark is situated east of Beltway 8, between Westheimer Road and Richmond Avenue, placing it within a prominent Westchase office submarket with convenient access to major thoroughfares and regional amenities.
