NewcrestImage Hotel Firm Begins Construction on North Texas Office Project

GRAPEVINE, Texas – NewcrestImage, a hotel and real estate developer, has begun construction on an 80,000-square-foot, four-story office building within its 52-acre SilverLake Crossings master-planned community, located about two miles north of Dallas/Fort Worth International Airport.
The company plans to occupy one full floor for its corporate headquarters when construction finishes in summer 2020. The remaining approximately 60,000 square feet will be offered for lease to multiple tenants.
SilverLake Crossings already includes six NewcrestImage hotels. Four of them are in various stages of development as part of a 702-room hotel campus; in addition, the company operates a 301-room dual-branded property on the site that has been open since 2013.
In Houston, NewcrestImage recently opened an AC Marriott as part of a redevelopment project on the 700 block of Main Street.

The new office building will feature contemporary technology, energy-efficient systems, and a range of tenant amenities. The design emphasizes landmark architecture and sustainable materials, with generous daylighting and striking visual elements throughout.
NewcrestImage has engaged Chris Taylor and Christy Thelen of Cushman & Wakefield to advise on design details and to lead leasing for the building’s available 60,000 square feet.

Headquartered currently in Lewisville, a suburb of Dallas, NewcrestImage operates in 10 states with 28 owned and managed hotels and an additional 15 properties either under construction or in development. In 2018 the company served approximately 1.9 million guests.
The North Texas SilverLake Crossings master plan includes 400 residential units, roughly 30,000 square feet of retail and dining, and 15 acres of parkland. Amenities surround a six-acre lake and include nature trails plus recreational activities such as fishing, kayaking, canoeing, and paddle boating.
