DFW Airport area: Perot/Invesco Partnership Starts 2.4 Million SF Project

In Dallas, A partnership of Perot Development Co. and Invesco Real Estate is developing DFW Park 161, a 196-acre project with 2.4 million SF of industrial space near the DFW Airport in Irving near State Highway 161.

A JLL Capital Markets team of Stephen Bailey, Dustin Volz and John Rose arranged construction financing and the creation of the partnership.

First United Bank is providing financing support. Halff Associates is serving as the project architect and civil engineer, and Peinado Construction is the general contractor.

In Kurt Griffin and Nathan Orbin, co, leads for Cushman & Wakefield in Dallas-Fort Worth, are the project’s designated leasing brokers.

“With DFW Park 161, one of North Texas’ few remaining centrally located infill sites for a major global e-commerce hub, we will further build on Perot Development’s legacy of creating state-of-the-art logistics centers that directly support the region’s prime economic engine, DFW International Airport,” said Perot Development CEO Pat Perot.
