Texas – Redo and ReChase: Relo to Tallest Tower

Ev Konut Proje Real Estate Briefs

In Houston, JPMorgan Chase bank, in one of Houston’s biggest office moves since Covid hit, has completed its move into the tallest tower in Texas.

More than 1,700 bank employees, most of them technologists making up the bank’s Houston Technology Center, are now occupying 250,000-SF on 12 floors in the 75-story JPMorgan Chase Tower.

The building, 600 Travis Street, has been undergoing a significant renovation of the exterior plaza and the creation of a new entry, designed by the HOK architecture firm.

Triangles, a Pyramid and The Louvre

The plaza area transformation is nearing completion and is set to feature a vibrant urban garden with increased green space and renewed connections between the outdoors and the building. In a tribute to the building’s iconic history, the reimagined lobby is set to feature a new glass pyramid entry, inspired by the Louvre Museum in Paris, a nod to the tower’s original architect I.M. Pei– that creates a spacious lobby with immense natural light and biophilic qualities as the outdoors are brought in.
