RNR Real Estate Briefs from Realty News Report – ROSENBERG, Texas – Taylor Schmidt, Reed Vestal, and John Erck of Lee & Associates – Houston represented multiple family trusts in the sale of 184.3 acres on Cottonwood Church Road in Rosenberg, located southwest of Houston.


Pearland, Texas – 14800 Jersey Shore Drive, LLC recently sold its former industrial campus in Pearland, comprised of three industrial buildings totaling 105,664 square feet on 32.7 acres at 320, 322 & 324 Riley Road, to BHVA Real Estate Holdings, LLC. Clay Pritchett and Zane Carman of NAI Partners represented the seller. Matt Rogers with Oxford Partners represented the buyer, BHVA Real Estate Holdings, LLC.


HOUSTON – Martin Preferred Foods, L.P., a local leader in food distribution and processing for 75 years, renewed 73,586 square feet of space at 2017 White Street. The landlord, Prologis, was represented by Ryan Patronella. The tenant was represented by Mark Kidd, Sr. and Mark Kidd, Jr. of M Kidd Properties, Inc.


HOUSTON – Van Leeuwen Ice Cream leased a 923-square-foot space in Rice Village at 2565 Amherst Street. Burdette Huffman of The Blue Ox Group represented Rice Village. Jason Kastner of Dochtner & Alexander Retail Advisors and Zac Hoffer with The Retail Connection represented the tenant, Van Leeuwen.


The Woodlands – Scooter’s Coffee will soon enter the Houston market with a location at Creekside Park Village Center, part of the newest retail development within Creekside Park Village Center in The Woodlands, according to Howard Hughes Corp.


The Woodlands – Neal King of The J. Beard Real Estate Company represented Lone Oak Holdings, LLC in the sale of a 10,000-square-foot office building on 9.5 acres in Tomball at 1600 East Hufsmith, adjacent to the new Broussard Community Park near FM 2978. Joseph Pantoja of Realm Real Estate Properties represented the undisclosed buyer.


CYPRESS – La V’Salon leased 1,400 square feet in the HEB Grant Shopping Center at 14041 Grant Road in Cypress, Texas. The landlord was represented by Kristen Barker of Wulfe & Co.

TEXAS

SAN ANTONIOCBRE announced plans to consolidate its three San Antonio offices into the Oxbow building at 1803 Broadway Street. The firm will relocate 81 employees to approximately 17,000 square feet of office space on the top floor of Silver Ventures’ new eight-story building in the second quarter of 2021. CBRE’s Christi Griggs and Steve Thomas, who oversee leasing and marketing for the Oxbow, represented Silver Ventures in the lease negotiations.


DALLAS – The new 14-story Marriott Dallas Uptown, located at the intersection of Fairmount and Carlisle, is scheduled to open in January. The 225-room hotel was developed by Alamo Manhattan, with design by WDG Architecture.


AUSTINNAI Partners recently arranged a 13-acre land sale to Hospice Austin at 3207 Ferguson Lane. Todd Mahler of NAI Partners represented the buyer in the transaction.


CONVERSENAI Partners facilitated the sale of a 7,225-square-foot O’Reilly Auto Parts retail property to Agree Stores, LLC at 8142 Kitty Hawk Road in Converse. Joe DeCola of NAI Partners, together with Cole Flanagan of Investment Property Advisors, represented the seller.


FRISCO – Houston-based Whitestone REIT announced that two real estate firms have leased space in its Shops at Starwood center in Frisco. RE/MAX DFW Associates, led by Mark and Kay Wolfe, will house 125 agents. The new office for United Real Estate Dallas marks its second location in Frisco.


MCALLENMarcus & Millichap handled the sale of Texan Mobile Home Park, an 880,783-square-foot manufactured homes community located at 2917 W. US Highway 83 in McAllen.


CARROLLTON – Avion Business Center Building 500 reached full occupancy after recently closing 28,989 square feet of new leases. Younger Partners agents Trae Anderson and Garrett Marler represent the landlord, Fort Worth-based Fort Capital, which acquired the three-building property at 2155 Chenault Drive in February.


LEWISVILLE – EastGroup Properties recently purchased 11.2 acres at 2300 East State Highway 121 in Lewisville. Dan Spika, SIOR, EVP and Principal of Henry S. Miller’s Industrial Division, represented the seller, D & M Boat Brokerage.


SAN ANTONIO – NAI Partners arranged a 5,000-square-foot industrial lease for Pruitt Tools & Supply at 2747 S. Foster Road. Colten Courtney of NAI Partners’ San Antonio industrial team represented the tenant.

NATIONAL – RNR Real Estate Briefs

BOULDER, Colorado – Fort Worth-based Crescent Real Estate LLC, led by John Goff, acquired the seven-building Medtronic campus in Boulder. The transaction includes a sale-leaseback arrangement with the current owner, Covidien, which is part of Medtronic. The 23-acre campus comprises 453,565 square feet of office, manufacturing, laboratory, and warehouse space.


INDIANAPOLISJLL Income Property Trust acquired the Whitestown Distribution Center, an industrial portfolio in the Whitestown submarket. The two-building portfolio, which is 100 percent leased, totals 720,000 square feet. The purchase price was $62 million.


NATIONAL HARBOR, Maryland – Peterson Companies announced that Pulte Homes will build The Flats at National Harbor, a condominium community offering 144 modern homes expected to be available in summer 2021. National Harbor is located on the banks of the Potomac River.
