HOUSTON – (RNR Real Estate Briefs) – Decorative Center Houston has named Colliers International as the leasing agent for its 500,000-square-foot Class A office building at 5120 Woodway Drive in Houston. Bill Insull and Blake R. Virgilio of Colliers’ Houston Agency Leasing Group will lead the leasing effort. The 10-story Decorative Center Houston overlooks the Galleria skyline and serves the Memorial and Tanglewood neighborhoods.
HOUSTON — Allied Orion Group has been selected to manage Hollister Oaks, a new 60-unit boutique community at 1920 Hollister St. in the Spring Branch area of Northwest Houston. The property was developed by Ibiza Hollister Oaks, LP.
HOUSTON — Finial Group has broken ground on Phase II of Independence Business Park near McHard Road on Houston’s south side. The project is a 145,185-square-foot business park being developed by Finial Senterra McHard, LLC, a joint venture between Finial Group and Senterra.
HOUSTON — Brent Fredricks, Robert Baker and Jay Wall of the Investment Services and Tenant Representation divisions at Moody Rambin represented the seller in the sale of a 0.19-acre parcel at 1218 Leeland St. in downtown Houston.
HOUSTON — Avanade Inc. renewed its lease for 9,809 square feet at Town Centre I, 750 Town and Country Blvd. Bob Cromwell and Kevin Nolan of Moody Rambin represented the landlord, and Jeff Cairns of CBRE represented the tenant.
HOUSTON — DPIS Builder Service, a Houston-based provider of outsourced residential homebuilder services, announced it has acquired Ei Companies. Based in Las Vegas, Ei Companies provides energy inspections and mechanical, electrical and plumbing design and engineering services for single-family and multifamily projects.
HOUSTON — Quor Health leased 5,123 square feet at Ashford Place II, 950 Threadneedle St. Stephen Ghedi of Moody Rambin represented the tenant; Jack Russo and Scott Fikes of JLL represented the landlord.
HOUSTON — Jack Callaghan with Finial Group represented Aldine Business, Inc. as landlord in a 5,200-square-foot lease at 16460 Kuykendahl Road, Suite 196, in northeast Houston.

AUSTIN — NAI Partners arranged the acquisition of a 50,000-square-foot industrial building at 4401 Supply Court for CKD USA Corporation. NAI Partners’ Troy Martin represented CKD. Joe Novek and Darryl Dadon of CBRE represented the seller. CKD plans a $13 million investment into the production site, with operations slated to begin in fall 2021 and an expected 70 new jobs.
SAN ANTONIO — Computer Solutions signed a 20,540-square-foot lease to become the first tenant at the new Walker Ranch Business Park. Worth & Associates is developing the 135,000-square-foot office and flex project on 10.8 acres at Wurzbach Parkway and West Avenue in the city’s north-central submarket. Russell Noll of Transwestern represented Computer Solutions.
SAN ANTONIO — Partners Capital, the investment arm of NAI Partners, closed on Blanco Crossing, a 22,606-square-foot retail center at Blanco and Huebner roads in north-central San Antonio. Blanco Crossing is home to tenants such as Sake Café, The Mailing Spot, Kennedy’s Public House and KC Pet Products and is currently 84% occupied. The acquisition follows Partners Capital’s recent rebrand and other purchases, including Trails at 620 in Austin.
FORT WORTH — Davidson Hotels & Resorts has been selected by Development Services Group to manage the Kimpton Harper Hotel, a new 226-room property set to open in spring 2021. Located in downtown Fort Worth near the Fort Worth Convention Center and Sundance Square, the hotel will occupy the historic 24-story Farmers and Mechanics National Bank building.
ARLINGTON — Johnson Development Associates plans to build Forum Commerce Center, a 129,450-square-foot Class A+ industrial building in Arlington’s Great Southwest submarket. David Eseke and Clay Balch of Cushman & Wakefield have been retained to oversee leasing.
LEANDER — Trendmaker Homes, part of TRI Pointe Group, acquired 152 lots in the Bar W Ranch master-planned community in Leander, Texas. The new single-family homes will be built on 41-, 50- and 60-foot lots and will feature modern designs, Hill Country views and riverfront frontage.
DALLAS — Huitt-Zollars, Inc., an award-winning design firm, signed a 32,529-square-foot lease at Three Lincoln Centre, a multi-building office campus in the Dallas–Fort Worth metroplex. Matthew Schendle and Clint Madison of Cushman & Wakefield represented the landlord, Nuveen, while JR Tomlinson of Newmark represented the tenant.
ARLINGTON — Modoc Properties, LLC acquired a 7,156-square-foot office building at 911 Magnolia St. from PCT Leasing & Service Co. Shane Benner of Bradford Commercial Real Estate Services represented the buyer, and David Dunn of SVN|Dunn Commercial Real Estate represented the seller.
KYLE — NAI Partners San Antonio arranged two land sales totaling nearly 70 acres in Kyle, Texas. Brett Lum handled both transactions: a 67.23-acre sale for a planned residential development and a 1.65-acre sale for a commercial corner intended for a new convenience store, Bread Basket.
DALLAS — Oh Zone Clinics, LLC leased 4,363 square feet in Highland Park West at 4300 MacArthur Ave. Richmond Collinsworth and Jared Laake of Bradford Commercial Real Estate Services represented the landlord, and Jeremy Gray of Gray & Co. Realtors Inc. represented the tenant.
DENTON — Zena Land Development of Grapevine acquired 147 acres south of Denton at Bonnie Brae and Allred Road from the McCutchin family. Ben McCutchin of Younger Partners represented the sellers. The acreage is part of the remaining land from the historic Pilot Knob Ranch and is planned for residential development.
FARMERS BRANCH — Legendary Black Belt Academy leased 4,183 square feet of retail space in Alpha Plaza at 4887 Alpha Road. Melanie Hughes and Elizabeth Hooper of Bradford Commercial Real Estate Services represented the landlord, and Lynn Sivertsen of Better Homes & Gardens Winans represented the tenant.

LAS VEGAS — Nitya Capital of Houston acquired Yardz at Mirabelli, a 168-unit apartment community in the West Valley submarket just off Freeway 95.
PETERSBURG, Fla. — Stoneweg US acquired the 688-unit Trellis at the Lakes Apartments in St. Petersburg for $114 million.
DETROIT — Greystone Bel closed the sale of the Whitmore Apartments Portfolio, a six-property multifamily collection totaling 223 units in Detroit’s Palmer Park district, for $9 million, or approximately $40,359 per unit. Nick Kirby and Cary Belovicz of Greystone Bel Real Estate Advisors represented the seller and procured the buyer.
VISTA, Calif. — StreetLights Residential opened its newest multifamily community, The Rylan, at 100 Main St. in historic downtown Vista. The five-story, mixed-use development features 126 apartment homes ranging from studios to townhomes and includes 14,570 square feet of retail and restaurant space.
