Trader Joe’s Bellaire Center Gains Tenants, Market briefs

In Houston, Einstein Bros. Bagels is among the new tenants planning to open stores in the Trader Joe’s shopping center under development in Bellaire.
The bagel shop, which has been expanding across the Houston metro, plans to begin building out a nearly 2,000-SF space at 5130 Bellaire, suite 140, in January, as stated by a filing with the Texas Department of Licensing & Regulation. Completion is planned in May 2027.
Kimco Realty, a real estate investment trust based in New York, tore down a former Randalls grocery store in February for the redevelopment of the Bellaire Boulevard Shopping Center. The center will be anchored by a 12,500-SF Trader Joe’s grocery store, which is slated to open in 2027.
Other planned tenants in the center include Chipotle Mexican Grill with 2,488 SF, Piada Italian Street Food with 2,503 SF, and Venetian Nail Spa with 3,001 SF, as stated by Kimco’s site plan. Two spaces, totaling nearly 3,500 SF, remain available for lease.
