HOUSTON – (Realty News Report) – The Morgan Group, a Houston-based multifamily investor and operator, has acquired The Beacon at Buffalo Pointe, a newly completed Class A apartment community featuring 281 units near the Texas Medical Center.
JLL brokers Chris Curry, Todd Marix and analyst Bailey Crowell marketed the property on behalf of seller Allied Orion Group and secured the buyer.
Situated less than a mile south of Loop 610, The Beacon at Buffalo Pointe sits on 32.4 acres at 10301 Buffalo Speedway, near West Bellfort. The site borders University of Texas-owned land that had previously been proposed for a data research institute before the plan was dropped amid local political opposition.
The community is within a five-minute drive of METRORail’s Red Line and about 10 minutes from the Texas Medical Center, offering convenient transit access for residents.
Completed in 2017, the four-story mid-rise development contains one-, two- and three-bedroom homes averaging 862 square feet and provides 484 parking spaces.
On-site amenities include a fitness center; a clubroom with a demonstration kitchen and coffee bar; a dog park with a wash station; and electric vehicle charging stations.
