Jackson Appointed President at Stream Realty Partners

Chris Jackson

DALLAS – (Realty News Report) – Stream Realty Partners, a full-service national commercial real estate investment, development and services firm, has promoted Chris Jackson to president.

“I’m honored to take on the role of president of Stream Realty Partners and appreciate both the opportunity and the confidence co-founders Mike McVean and Lee Belland have shown in me,” Jackson said.

Stream has recently been active on multiple fronts. In Houston, the company acquired 300 acres in Brookshire to develop Empire West business park, which will include a 1 million square-foot speculative distribution building in Phase 1. In downtown Austin, Stream is building the 15-story RiverSouth office tower on First Street just south of Lady Bird Lake; the Baker Botts law firm has leased 50,000 square feet in that project. In Dallas, Stream completed a $140 million redevelopment of the 50-story Trammell Crow Center in the downtown core.

In his newly created role as president, Jackson will focus on supporting and growing Stream’s national platform. His responsibilities include developing systems and initiatives that improve company-wide growth and efficiency across talent, client service and capital deployment. The objective is to scale Stream’s proven regional capabilities into consistent, repeatable national performance while preserving the firm’s culture and platform strengths.

“Chris’ strategic approach to our business, particularly when it comes to maintaining and extending our unique culture and platform, has been critical to expanding our footprint,” said Mike McVean, co-founder and co-general partner of Stream. “Chris has done an outstanding job growing our service business in Dallas, Fort Worth and Greater Los Angeles, and we look forward to seeing him deliver the same results across the country.”

Jackson began his career in real estate in 1997 with Trammell Crow Company and joined Stream in 2003 to establish its industrial services business. Over his tenure with the company he has held a range of leadership roles that positioned him to take on this broader, firmwide responsibility.

Since its founding in 1996, Stream has expanded to more than 850 real estate professionals operating from regional offices across the United States, including Atlanta, Austin, Charlotte, Chicago, Dallas, Denver, Fort Worth, Greater Los Angeles, Houston, San Antonio, San Diego and Washington, D.C. The firm typically completes more than $2.9 billion in real estate transactions each year and remains an active investor and developer nationwide.
