HOUSTON – Retail industry veteran Eric Lestin, formerly with CBRE, has joined Cushman & Wakefield to lead the firm’s newly established Retail Services Group.
In his role, Lestin will build and lead a retail tenant representation team and develop complementary service lines to support retailers and institutional clients seeking advisory and transaction services.
Tim Relyea, executive vice chairman at Cushman & Wakefield, praised Lestin, calling him “one of the best retail real estate minds in Houston.”
Lestin brings more than 30 years of industry experience, advising clients across a wide range of real estate matters. His expertise includes investment and lease evaluation, financial and market analysis, acquisition counsel, marketing strategy, financing solutions, tenant representation, site selection, strategic planning, and broader consulting services. Prior to CBRE, Lestin served with NewQuest Properties and held other senior roles in retail real estate.
With this strategic hire, Cushman & Wakefield aims to expand its retail advisory capabilities in Houston and beyond, leveraging Lestin’s deep market knowledge and long-standing relationships to better serve retailers, landlords and investors navigating today’s evolving retail landscape.
