HOUSTON – (Realty News Report) – Alliance Residential Company has acquired 13 acres in southwest Houston for a 336-unit multifamily community as part of the proposed Saint Nicholas Place campus development.
The parcel at 12115 Main Street sits along US 90, approximately six miles from the Texas Medical Center, between Hiram Clarke Road and South Post Oak Road. The site borders the Menninger Clinic psychiatric facility.
This Alliance acquisition supports a larger neighborhood vision to create a village-style campus centered on a new school for Saint Nicholas School, said Headmistress Margot Heard.
“Alliance is known for developing outstanding multifamily communities, and we are pleased to welcome them as new neighbors,” Heard said. “Adding this multifamily element brings us closer to realizing a broad, community-oriented concept for the neighborhood.”
Alliance plans a three-story garden-style apartment community featuring one- and two-bedroom residences. The company currently owns and manages numerous multifamily properties across Houston.
JLL broker Chris Bergmann Jr. represented seller Taeken, Ltd. in the land transaction.
Additional commercial tracts fronting Main Street are listed with JLL. Nineteen acres have been set aside for Saint Nicholas School.
Saint Nicholas School operates a Classical program for pre-kindergarten through grade 8 and a Montessori Lower School. Enrollment is open now for summer camp and the upcoming school year.
