HOUSTON – (Realty News Report) – The Houston District Council of the Urban Land Institute (ULI) has named Cortney Cole as the incoming Houston District Council Chair. Cole, a Managing Director in JLL Capital Markets’ Houston office with 23 years of experience in commercial real estate finance, will serve a two-year term leading the local ULI council. She succeeds Abbey Roberson, Vice President of Planning for TMC.
NAI Partners has promoted its head of marketing, Larry Koestler, to Senior Vice President of Marketing & Communications. In his expanded role, Koestler will oversee the company’s team of Client Services Coordinators and Account Managers and continue to lead marketing and media relations across NAI Partners’ three Texas markets: Houston, Austin and San Antonio.
Colliers International has appointed Jonathan Horowitz to its Houston retail advisory team as Senior Vice President. Horowitz joins Colliers after serving as Chief Brand Officer at Lasco Enterprises.

JLL has hired Lonna Jenks as Vice President on the Houston Tenant Representation team. Jenks holds a Master of Real Estate and a Bachelor of Science in Agribusiness from Texas A&M University.
Cristina Vetrano was named CEO of the Ronald McDonald House Houston, an organization that supports families with seriously ill children receiving care at the Texas Medical Center.
Neha Desai has joined Hines to support asset management efforts in New York.
Walker & Dunlop, Inc. has hired Jared Sobel as Managing Director in its New York office. Sobel will help lead growth in the company’s multifamily small loans group, which provides financing solutions tailored to smaller apartment properties focused on sustainability and affordability.
