HOUSTON – (Realty News Report) – Sage Plaza, a 25-story office tower in Houston’s Uptown/Galleria submarket, has signed two new tenants, CBRE announced.
The 531,000-square-foot Sage Plaza, located at 5151 San Felipe at Sage Road, was completed in 1983. Jason Presley and Debbie Wilson of CBRE’s Houston office represented the building owner, Granite Barnhart Sage Plaza, LP, in the recent leases.
The combined leases total 63,112 square feet.
Insgroup, Inc. signed for 43,296 square feet and was represented by David Bale of JLL. Legal Access Holding Company, LLC leased 19,816 square feet and was represented by Jay Kyle of Colliers International.
“Legal Access was attracted to Sage Plaza because the landlord has maintained a neighborhood-building atmosphere while providing modern amenities and thoughtful meeting and common areas,” Kyle said.
The owners have recently upgraded the outdoor seating area and added a new fitness center. They are also working with several of Houston’s leading architects to refresh the building’s lobby and common-area programming and aesthetics. Sage Plaza, which sits adjacent to restaurants and retail, can currently accommodate tenants with space needs ranging from 2,000 to 100,000 square feet.
“Over the past few years, the area surrounding Sage Plaza has developed organically into a vibrant, 24/7 mixed-use community,” said CBRE’s Presley. “Sage Plaza continues to evolve as a high-quality office location for the neighborhood.”
