HOUSTON – An industrial building is currently under construction in Generation Park, the 4,000‑acre master‑planned development along Beltway 8 in northeast Houston, McCord Development announced.

The new building totals 124,800 square feet and is currently 60% leased, leaving 49,920 square feet available for lease. Named Lockwood Business Park and located at 13300 Lockwood Road, this is the first for‑lease industrial project to be developed within Generation Park.

“The facilities at Lockwood Business Park provide tenants with efficient space and amenities to streamline and consolidate daily operations,” said Ryan McCord, president of Houston‑based McCord Development.

The first industrial building at Lockwood Business Park includes GHX Industrial’s headquarters and manufacturing facility. GHX occupies a ten‑acre site within the park, directly across from TechnipFMC’s 173‑acre campus. A national value‑added distributor and fabricator of industrial gaskets and hoses, GHX consolidated four Houston‑area locations and its corporate headquarters into this new facility.

Method Architecture serves as the project architect, Burton Construction is the general contractor, and project financing is provided by Woodforest National Bank.
