HOUSTON – (Realty News Report) – American Landmark Apartments has acquired a 240-unit multifamily community in The Woodlands.
This marks the Tampa, Fla.-based firm’s 17th property in the Houston metro area and its 41st property in Texas.
In The Woodlands, American Landmark Apartments acquired Pine Creek Ranch apartments. The community will be renamed Stone Creek at The Woodlands and will undergo a $2.7 million capital improvements program.
American Landmark Acquires 17th Property in Houston
The planned capital improvements include a wide range of upgrades throughout the property. Unit renovations will feature stainless steel appliances, new kitchen tile backsplashes, new cabinet faces with contemporary hardware in kitchens and bathrooms, upgraded plumbing and lighting fixtures, master closet organizers, enhanced bath accessories, and electronic smart locks.
Community amenity upgrades will include landscape beautification, a dog park with an agility course, a pet wash station, clubhouse enhancements, new fitness center equipment, and new pool furniture.
Built in 2005, Stone Creek Apartments is located at 3600 College Park Drive. One- and two-bedroom units currently offer granite countertops, walk-in closets, and in-unit washer and dryer. Community amenities include a swimming pool, a clubhouse with Wi‑Fi, tennis courts, a courtyard, picnic areas, and a Zen garden.
The Woodlands is a 28,000-acre, master-planned community located 27 miles north of downtown Houston.
Earlier this week, Florida-based developer Mill Creek Residential announced it has begun construction on a multifamily project in The Woodlands. The new development, Modera Six Pines, will be a 429-unit, five-story podium-style community expected to welcome its first residents in spring 2022.
