JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – David Weekley Homes has announced plans to build 135 residences, including townhomes and detached single-family homes, within Southside Quarter, a 105-acre mixed-use development being developed by Hines in Jacksonville.
These homes will be offered under David Weekley Homes’ Central Living brand. Central Living is the company’s high-density division, focused on providing thoughtfully designed urban housing in desirable locations. Launched in Houston in 2008, Central Living has expanded successfully to 13 markets, including Atlanta, Austin, Charlotte, Dallas/Fort Worth, Orlando, and Tampa.
“David Weekley Homes has been serving the Jacksonville area since 1998, and we’re excited to introduce a new collection of high-quality, in-town homes for local buyers,” said Jon Morris, division president for David Weekley Homes’ Jacksonville and Panama City markets. The first homes in Southside Quarter are scheduled to be available in mid-2018.
Southside Quarter, developed by Hines, is designed as a mixed-use neighborhood that will combine office space, residential units, hotel accommodations, and retail amenities to create a walkable, integrated community.
Both David Weekley Homes and Hines are headquartered in Houston.
