Transwestern to Lease Riverway Office Buildings

HOUSTON – (Realty News Report) – Sidra Real Estate has retained Transwestern Real Estate Services to provide office leasing services for two prominent properties in Houston’s Riverway submarket.

The portfolio includes 2 Riverway, a 369,479-square-foot office tower, and a 122,899-square-foot office building at 4900 Woodway, both located just west of Loop 610.

The Transwestern leasing team representing the owner comprises Senior Vice President Louann Pereira, Senior Managing Director Doug Little, and Senior Associate Matthew Seliger.

“Each property holds a distinct position within the Riverway West Loop submarket, and we look forward to enhancing long-term value for these assets,” said Pereira.

2 Riverway is a 17-story tower on the southeast corner of South Post Oak Lane and Woodway Drive. Built in 1980, the building underwent a recent renovation designed by Ziegler Cooper Architects. Approximately two years ago, Comerica Bank leased 35,000 square feet in the tower.

The nearby 12-story building at 4900 Woodway sits on a 1.3-acre site about five miles west of downtown Houston. The property previously changed hands in 2012 when a group that included Houston’s Fidelis Realty sold the asset.
