Weatherford Farms Nursery Site Sold for Major Industrial Development

STAFFORD – (Realty News Report) – The 34-acre Weatherford Farms nursery in Stafford has been sold to Crow Holdings, which plans to develop a large warehouse and distribution complex on the site.

Stafford is a municipality located southwest of Houston. The Weatherford Farms property is situated at 13223 Murphy Road, near Mula Road, offering strong access to regional transportation routes.

Crow Holdings Industrial intends to construct a three-building industrial development totaling approximately 568,084 square feet on the site. With significant frontage on both FM 1092 and Mula Road, the property is well positioned for industrial distribution or flexible industrial space. The project was scheduled for delivery in Fall 2021.

Stafford – The City Without Property Taxes

On the acquisition, Crow Holdings Industrial was represented by Cory Driskill and Travis Covington of Crow Holdings Industrial.

According to Colliers, the Southwest Corridor industrial market posted 671,700 square feet of positive net absorption in the first half of 2020 and was 92.4 percent occupied. The average quoted rent increased over the quarter from $8.48 per square foot to $9.39 per square foot. At the close of the second quarter of 2020, roughly 3,655,000 square feet of industrial space was under construction in the Southwest Corridor.
