Zavvie and Better Homes & Gardens Gary Greene Start Houston iBuyer Business

HOUSTON – (Realty News Report) – Zavvie, a residential technology company, has expanded the iBuyer model in partnership with Houston’s largest real estate firm, Better Homes and Gardens Real Estate Gary Greene. The collaboration offers home sellers multiple instant offers, giving consumers more choices when selling their homes.

iBuyers are online real estate companies that buy homes directly from sellers without following the traditional public listing process. They provide quick purchase offers and later resell the properties.

Major iBuyers include Opendoor, Zillow Offers, and Offerpad. These companies are known for making rapid, cash-like offers to homeowners — hence the “iBuyer” label.

The new development in Houston brings Better Homes and Gardens Real Estate Gary Greene into the process through Zavvie’s technology. The service, branded the Gary Greene Offer Optimizer, enables sellers to request and compare offers from several iBuyers at once.

Beyond aggregating iBuyer offers, the program connects sellers with a local Gary Greene agent who provides market expertise and personalized service throughout the transaction.

“Now more than ever, homeowners are seeking the expertise of a trusted real estate agent to make the right sales decision,” said Mark Woodroof, Managing Partner of Better Homes and Gardens Real Estate Gary Greene.

A recent study from the Houston Association of Realtors found that 41 percent of sellers would consider an iBuyer offer. Of those who would consider such an offer, 92 percent still want representation by a Realtor.

The Gary Greene iBuyer platform addresses important factors consumers may overlook when evaluating instant offers, helping sellers understand the full implications of a quick sale.

“With a Gary Greene agent at their side,” Woodroof added, “when a home seller accepts an iBuyer offer, they have an advocate who can expertly guide them through the entire transaction.”

Zavvie’s technology powers iBuyer platforms for top brokerages nationwide. It connects agents and clients to iBuyers via online tools that deliver current, reliable, and market-specific data so homeowners can make informed decisions with professional guidance.

“It should be no surprise that nearly everyone who considers an iBuyer instant offer wants the help of a real estate pro like the team at Gary Greene,” said Lane Hornung, CEO and Founder of Zavvie. “While it only takes the push of a button to get an instant offer, selling a home, even to an iBuyer, is not instant. That’s why sellers seek the help of an agent. They want representation, guidance, and at times, some emotional support.”

“Gary Greene is getting out in front of the increasing demand for instant offers by bringing the iBuyers to the table for their clients. In Houston, Gary Greene agents are providing sellers with multiple offers and all options — backed by a passion for providing an exceptional experience,” Hornung added.

Founded in 1963, Gary Greene operates 24 offices and employs approximately 1,300 agents across the Houston area.
