HOUSTON – The Welcome Group is developing an industrial property on the South Sam Houston Parkway, just west of Highway 288 near Almeda School Road.
The South Sam Houston Parkway corridor has seen substantial industrial activity, with multiple projects underway by Clay Development and Construction, Hines and other firms.
KDW is building a 23,100-square-foot Southbelt facility for the Welcome Group.
Separately, Welcome Group is developing a Northwest Houston project at 4500 West Greens Road. That facility will total 42,596 square feet, including 38,264 square feet of warehouse space and 4,332 square feet of two-story office area. The building can be expanded to as much as 65,000 square feet and is located less than a half-mile north of the North Sam Houston Parkway.
Construction on both projects is scheduled for completion this year.
Houston-based Welcome Group is a full-service, single-tenant industrial owner and developer. The company currently owns more than 100 industrial buildings across Texas, totaling roughly four million square feet.
