Aztec Events & Tents renewed its lease for 125,697 SF at 601 West Sixth Street. The property owner was represented by The Deal Company. Shaffer Sports & Events relocated to a renovated, multi-tenant facility of 125,000 SF at 10901 Tanner Road under a long-term lease with Exeter 10901 Tanner, LP. The landlord was represented by David Boyd, Greg Barra and Wes Williams of Boyd Commercial. John Parsley, Gary Mabry and Judd Harrison of Colliers International represented Aztec/Shaffer in both transactions.

Adrian Duenas and Marcelo Saenz, owners of BeDESIGN, a luxury furnishings showroom at 2016 West Alabama in Houston, purchased the adjacent property at 2022 West Alabama to begin an expansion this month. The project will create expanded showroom space totaling 15,000 SF indoors plus a 5,000 SF rooftop terrace. Four years after opening, BeDESIGN is expanding its Italian décor showroom; since October 2016 the company’s annual revenues have grown from about $1 million to more than $4 million.
