SAN ANTONIO – (Realty News Report) – CBRE has opened a new San Antonio office in a recently completed building near the historic Pearl brewery redevelopment.
The 17,000-square-foot office occupies the top floor of Silver Ventures’ new Oxbow building. CBRE consolidated three San Antonio locations, combining about 90 employees into the new space at 1803 Broadway St.
Collaborative Workplace
The office is part of CBRE’s global Workplace360 initiative, which reimagines work environments to promote flexibility, mobility and productivity through technology-enabled spaces, free-address seating, and reduced paper use.
“Our new Workplace360 office features a flexible work environment and exceptional amenities in a vibrant location, providing our employees and clients with the best possible workplace experience,” said Gardner Peavy, managing director at CBRE in San Antonio. “Bringing our employees together across multiple service lines and offices will allow them to fully embrace the new technology and collaborate more effectively.”
Workplace360 provides a flexible way of working supported by a coordinated system of places, technologies and behaviors that allow employees to choose the environment that suits their needs throughout the day. The San Antonio office offers a variety of work settings—a mix of collaborative and private spaces—and upgraded technology to support mobile work. CBRE’s in-house design team led the workplace design, while its Workplace practice handled workplace strategy, research and change management.

The design concept blends San Antonio’s history with the city’s modern revitalization. A painted mural celebrates the region’s Texas heritage, while conference rooms carry San Antonio-themed names. Additional local artwork and a gallery wall featuring historical photography of the Pearl site line the office walls, giving the space a strong sense of place.
The Oxbow building sits north of downtown, near Brackenridge Park.
Supported by CBRE’s Corporate Real Estate, Workplace, Design, Project Management, Advisory & Transaction Services, and Operations teams, the San Antonio Workplace360 office reflects collaboration across service lines. Christi Griggs and Steve Thomas, who handle leasing and marketing for the Oxbow, represented Silver Ventures in the lease negotiations.
The new eight-story, 112,000-square-foot Oxbow building includes ground-floor retail and restaurant space.
CBRE’s Workplace360 in Houston
CBRE introduced the Workplace360 concept in its Houston office in 2018. That office is located in Williams Tower, a 64-story Hines building adjacent to the Galleria.
Recently, CBRE also leased approximately 20,000 square feet to relocate its Las Vegas office to a mixed-use project called the UnCommons, one of the first developments in the nation built to the WELL v2 Pilot standards for health and wellness. UnCommons is noted as a pioneering project in Nevada for implementing WELL Building Standards, focusing on the impact of buildings on human health and wellness.
