Veteran Houston Office Brokers Harry Holmes and Charlie Neuhaus Join NAI Partners

HOUSTON – (Realty News Report) – Veteran office brokers Harry Holmes and Charlie Neuhaus have joined the Office Tenant Representation Group at NAI Partners in Houston. Together, the two bring decades of experience and have closed transactions with a combined value exceeding $2 billion.

“Harry and Charlie are among the best-known and most highly regarded brokers in Houston—boasting a combined 60 years of industry experience—and we are incredibly excited to add their expertise, market knowledge, and relationships to our deep-rooted tenant representation practice and to the firm as a whole,” said Jon Silberman, Managing Partner of NAI Partners.

Holmes was previously a principal with Avison Young. Over a 40-year career, his notable clients have included Occidental Petroleum, Citicorp Bank, Gulf Chemical & Resources, Texas Eastern, the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation, and Texas Children’s Hospital.

Neuhaus also previously served as a principal with Avison Young, where he completed more than $1 billion in transactions.

NAI Partners recently reported that the Houston office market has experienced nearly 3 million square feet in negative absorption. About 4 million square feet of office space is currently under construction in the Houston area, including the 47-story Texas Tower being developed by Hines in downtown. Vacancy rates have been rising, and many corporate tenants are delaying leasing decisions until there is greater clarity about the long-term effects of the pandemic.

“Having been among the first companies to return to our offices at the beginning of May, we continue to demonstrate our collective resilience in the marketplace,” said Travis Rodgers, Executive Vice President, NAI Partners. “We are more prepared than ever to assist clients as they return to their own spaces and thoughtfully plan for the future.”

NAI Partners, which also operates offices in Austin and San Antonio, employs more than 100 real estate professionals across its Texas locations.
