Arch-Con Begins Construction on Fort Worth Power Center
Shops at Chisholm Trail
FORT WORTH – Arch-Con Corporation is developing the Shops at Chisholm Trail, a 35-acre retail project for StreetLevel Investments.
The 215,000-square-foot power center, which will include a 40,000-square-foot movie theater, is located at the corner of Chisholm Trail Parkway and McPherson Boulevard in southwest Fort Worth.
Situated in a rapidly growing section of the city and drawing customers from nearby Cleburne as well, the location provides strong regional retail demand, said Marc MacConnell from Arch-Con’s retail division.
The Shops at Chisholm Trail is part of a larger master-planned community adjacent to Chisholm Trail Community Park, in one of southwest Fort Worth’s fastest-growing neighborhoods.
When finished, the development will combine multifamily housing, single-family homes and a diverse assortment of retail offerings to serve residents and visitors.
“This balanced retail center will provide patrons with a varied experience by blending entertainment and shopping,” said Anne Kuta, development director for StreetLevel Investments. “The design responds to shoppers’ desire for well-rounded, convenient retail and leisure options.”
Marketed as a regional retail, entertainment and dining destination, the Shops at Chisholm Trail Ranch will feature approximately 130,000 square feet of premium junior-anchor retail, a 40,000-square-foot movie theater, about 44,000 square feet of fast-casual restaurants and convenience retail, plus eight outparcels designed for standalone uses.
EDGE Realty’s David Copeland and Brian Waxler are handling leasing for the center. Confirmed tenants include Five Below, Old Navy, Famous Footwear, Ulta, Marshalls, Tuesday Morning, AT&T, Sprint, Great Clips, Sports Clips and Resort Nails & Spa.
The project was scheduled to open in spring 2020. Keith Bjerke, president of Bjerke Management Solutions, is serving as program manager for the development.
Arch-Con, which is based in Houston, also maintains offices in Dallas and Los Angeles.
