CORSICANA, Texas – Dart Container, the company known for producing Solo cups, has purchased a 1.4 million-square-foot industrial facility situated on 139 acres near Interstate 45, south of Dallas. The site includes Union Pacific rail access and formerly operated as a Home Depot distribution center.
Holmes Davis of Binswanger represented the seller, Eliken Property Management, in the transaction.
Headquartered in Mason, Michigan, Dart Container is investing approximately $38 million in the project, according to a statement from the Corsicana City Council.
Former Exxon Chemical campus
In Houston, an affiliate of Dart’s ownership group, Third Palm Capital, owns the former Exxon Chemical campus in the Energy Corridor. That property, located on the south side of the Katy Freeway at Eldridge, is being redeveloped under the name Republic Square.
