Hines Breaks Ground on 732K‑SF Industrial Logistics Campus

ATLANTA – (Realty News Report) – Hines has broken ground on Busch Logistics Park, a 97-acre industrial development featuring two speculative buildings totaling nearly 732,000 square feet of industrial space.

Situated in Bartow County, this marks Hines’ first logistics property in the Atlanta region.

The two buildings to be developed concurrently are: Building A, which will offer 523,541 square feet with a 36-foot clear height, and Building B, providing 207,989 square feet with a 32-foot clear height. Both buildings are scheduled for delivery in the third quarter of 2021.

“Busch Logistics Park will meet the growing need for modern distribution and warehouse space in one of the region’s fastest-expanding markets,” said Hines Senior Director of Industrial Development and Acquisitions Ryan Wood.

Hines has engaged JLL’s Bob Currie, Managing Director, and Reed Davis, Executive Vice President, to lead marketing and leasing for the Busch project.

“Since the COVID-19 outbreak, demand for high-quality logistics facilities has grown, and we’re already seeing strong interest in Busch Logistics Park from prospective tenants,” said Reed Davis of JLL.

“Busch Logistics Park represents a strategic opportunity for Stonemont to apply the investment and development expertise we’ve built on Class A industrial projects nationwide,” said Stonemont Managing Principal and CEO Zack Markwell. “We’re pleased to partner with Hines and JLL to create a pivotal logistics and distribution hub in northwest Atlanta that will appeal to a diverse range of industrial users and is positioned for continued growth as e-commerce expands.”

Hines, based in Houston, is a privately held global real estate investment firm founded in 1957 by the late Gerald D. Hines. The firm operates in 225 cities across 25 countries and manages a portfolio of approximately $144.1 billion in assets.
