FORT WORTH – (Realty News Report) – Hines, the Houston-based international real estate firm, has begun construction on a 1,100-acre master-planned community north of Fort Worth.
The development, named Wildflower Ranch, will include 3,300 single-family homes, a resort-style lazy river, extensive trails, recreational areas, and a Northwest ISD school site.
Wildflower Ranch is situated near Highway 114 and Interstate 35W, just north of Hillwood’s AllianceTexas development.
Hines is leading the overall development of Wildflower Ranch and has engaged Goodwin & Marshall for civil engineering, Cody John Studios for landscape and amenity design, and Conatser Construction and RPM X Construction for building. The first phase of construction is scheduled for delivery in early 2021.
The initial phase will deliver 400 single-family homes built by established Texas homebuilders: Beazer Homes, Bloomfield Homes, Gehan Homes, Highland Homes, and Lennar Homes.
Although widely recognized for high-rise developments, Hines also has a strong residential portfolio, including the 9,700-acre First Colony in Fort Bend County, the 550-home Somerset Green development on Old Katy Road inside Houston’s Inner Loop, and several residential communities in Florida.
“The city is experiencing significant growth, and we believe Wildflower Ranch will be an attractive addition to the area,” said Dustin Davidson, Managing Director at Hines.
Additional community features at Wildflower Ranch will include interconnected trails, planned stewardship and programming for Harriet Creek, a community pavilion and gathering areas, and multiple playgrounds for all ages.
Hines was founded in Houston in 1957 by Gerald D. Hines. The firm operates in 205 cities across 24 countries and manages approximately $133.3 billion in assets.
