PBK Architects Expands Greenway Plaza Headquarters with Modern Design

Greenway Plaza is located near the Southwest Freeway.

HOUSTON – (Realty News Report) – PBK, a multidisciplinary architecture and engineering firm, has expanded and upgraded its corporate headquarters at 11 Greenway Plaza inside Houston’s Inner Loop.

This work represents the second phase of a 40,000-square-foot renovation. When the project is complete in October, the updated headquarters will emphasize open work areas and collaborative spaces while reducing the number of private offices. The redesigned space will also add an employee lounge and a dedicated room for working mothers. During the initial phase, PBK already converted many private offices into additional shared workspaces to support a more flexible workplace layout.

The expansion also provides room for two of PBK’s growing subsidiaries, LEAF Engineers and BEAM Professionals, bringing them into the consolidated headquarters environment.

Senterra Real Estate Group represented PBK in the transaction, led by CEO Neil Tofsky and Vice President Kevin Tofsky. Senterra is also providing construction management services for the project, with Byrd Interior Construction LP serving as the general contractor for the renovations.

PBK first relocated to Greenway Plaza in 1981 with just 400 square feet. Over the decades the firm has grown to occupy more than 40,000 square feet at the same address. PBK now employs over 500 people globally, with more than half based in the Houston office.
