HOUSTON – Parkway Properties Investments has signed M.M. LaFleur, the upscale women’s apparel and styling brand, as a new retail tenant at Post Oak Central. The agreement is part of Parkway’s ongoing strategy to elevate the development’s retail offerings and create a luxury-driven campus experience.

“This lease advances our objective of assembling a high-end retail mix that enhances our campus ecosystem and positions Post Oak Central as a lifestyle destination for the neighborhood,” said Amanda Nebel, Parkway Leasing Manager.

Tom Havron of Newmark Knight Frank represented Parkway in the 2,300-square-foot lease. Located along Post Oak Boulevard, the 17-acre Post Oak Central campus includes three office towers totaling about 1.2 million square feet.

Designed by renowned architect Philip Johnson, Post Oak Central features one of Uptown Houston’s largest green spaces and benefits from one of the area’s highest walkability scores. The campus sits on the west side of Post Oak Boulevard between Westheimer Road and San Felipe Street.

M.M. LaFleur, a New York–based women’s clothing and styling company, first entered the Houston market with a pop-up in October 2018. The permanent location at Post Oak Central will give the brand a prominent Post Oak Boulevard address close to The Galleria, with convenient access and parking for clients.

“Post Oak Central provides our clients with a prime Post Oak Boulevard location near The Galleria with easy access and parking,” said Katie Twidwell, Senior Director of Retail Operations & Experience for M.M. LaFleur. “The gallery-like space is an ideal backdrop for our collection, allowing us to expand beyond the pop-up assortment and host in-store events.”

Founded in 2013 by Sarah LaFleur, Narie Foster and Creative Director Miyako Nakamura (formerly head designer for Zac Posen), M.M. LaFleur was created to help professional women streamline their wardrobes and simplify dressing for work. The brand focuses on a tightly curated selection of versatile pieces with refined silhouettes and thoughtful details that suit a dynamic lifestyle. Many items are travel-friendly, machine washable and wrinkle-resistant, and the line is offered in sizes ranging from 0 to 22W.

Personal styling is central to the M.M. LaFleur experience. Showroom visitors receive a complimentary hour of styling to identify the season’s best looks for them, and basic hemline alterations are provided at no charge.
