HOUSTON – (Realty News Report) – Colliers has appointed Cody Persyn to its Houston retail team as Senior Vice President. Persyn will focus on multi-market corporate dispositions of retail properties and the disposition of excess land. He brings more than 20 years of commercial real estate experience in the retail sector.
“Colliers Houston’s retail platform continues its rapid growth with the addition of an industry leader like Cody Persyn,” said Colliers Houston President, Patrick Duffy. “Retail will be a major growth focus for Colliers Houston in the coming years and will be developed alongside the company’s prominent industrial, land and office teams.”

Persyn previously served as a Principal at SRS Real Estate Partners and was a Vice President at CBRE. He earned a Master’s degree in Land Economics and Real Estate from Texas A&M University.
HOUSTON – Martha Turner Sotheby’s International Realty announced that Allison Johanson (Penrod) has been named Vice President of Sales for the firm’s six Houston offices. In this role, Johanson will help guide strategic growth for the local brokerage, lead agent recruitment and development efforts, and provide sales transaction consultation.
HOUSTON – Hartman Income REIT Management appointed Michael Racusin as General Counsel and Corporate Secretary. Racusin previously held the same positions at Luby’s.
CHICAGO – JLL announced that Tina Ju has been elected as an independent, non-executive member of its Board of Directors. Ju is a founding partner of KPCB China and TDF Capital and began her venture capital career in 1999. She co-founded VTDF China in 2000 and KPCB China in 2007. Earlier in her career, Ju was head of TMT and Transport Asia at Deutsche Bank, led Asia Technology at Merrill Lynch, and held roles at Goldman Sachs. “Tina’s expertise, market knowledge and ability to engage with leading entrepreneurs and successful enterprises will be invaluable as we continue to pursue JLL’s growth prospects in Asia, particularly China,” said JLL CEO Christian Ulbrich.
DALLAS – PJ Behr joined Spirit Realty as Vice President of Acquisitions in Dallas. In this capacity, he will source, market, analyze and oversee the acquisition of new investment real estate opportunities, with a primary focus on retail, office and entertainment properties.
AUSTIN – Avenue5 Residential, a multifamily property management services firm, named Stephani Park Senior Vice President of Operations in Texas. Park will lead a regional team of vice presidents and regional managers overseeing more than 40 multifamily and single-family assets and roughly 10,000 units. Before joining Avenue5, she held leadership positions at Roscoe Property Management, Oden Hughes Management and Riverstone Residential Group. Park currently serves as president of the Austin Apartment Association.
HOUSTON – Patten Title Company, a real estate title and closing services firm, hired Juliana Davila as Senior Escrow Officer and Branch Manager for its new Memorial office near Memorial City Mall off I-10 and Gessner.
DALLAS – Arcosa Inc., a provider of infrastructure-related products and solutions, appointed Gail Peck as Chief Financial Officer and Treasurer.
SYDNEY, Australia – Hines announced three strategic hires for its Asia Pacific region. Alysia Reilly joins as Director and Head of Logistics, Australia. Sam Bisla joins as Director and Head of Living, Australia. Ricardo Gonzalez, a 25-year Hines veteran, will relocate from Hines Mexico to Hines Australia to serve as Vice President and Head of Property Management and Operations, overseeing property management and operations across the Asia Pacific region.
LOS ANGELES – Broadshore Capital Partners named Michael Kane Vice President, West Coast Acquisitions. Kane will be based in Broadshore’s Los Angeles office, where the firm maintains an active multifamily investment program.
NEW YORK – Updater, a technology company serving the relocation industry, appointed former WeWork and DoorDash executive Josh Abrams as Chief Product Officer.
