CONROE, Texas — Howard Hughes Corporation, the developer behind The Woodlands master-planned community, has unveiled plans for The Woodlands Hills, a new 2,000-acre residential neighborhood located roughly 13 miles north of The Woodlands.
The Woodlands Hills is planned to deliver approximately 4,500 homes complemented by retail space, 112 acres of preserved open space, 20 neighborhood parks and a central 17-acre Village Park. Home sales and occupancy are expected to begin in the first quarter of 2018.
“The Woodlands Hills will showcase gently rolling terrain that enhances the natural amenities and abundant green space while providing convenient access to The Woodlands,” said Tim Welbes, Co‑President of The Woodlands Development Company.
The new community sits along FM 830 on the west side of Interstate 45. Its property stretches north to FM 1097 and south to League Line Road, placing it in close proximity to the cities of Conroe and Willis. The development falls within the Willis Independent School District.
Willis is approximately 50 miles north of downtown Houston, making The Woodlands Hills an option for buyers seeking a suburban setting within reach of the region’s employment and amenities.
